I really liked this story. It seems pretty real-life to me
and that's what I liked about it.

This story is an absolute delight! A wonderful life
affirming tale of children at a turning point in their
own lives. To be read again and again!

A glimpse into a world at once ordinary, but also
strangely surreal.

A Cowardly Hero by Muhammad Ashfaq
...what it successfully proves is that fancy rambling
prose might sound pleasant to eye and ear, rough
and rugged style may at time really be required to
recreate a life which is neither very smooth, fancy
and forgiving.

About Writing by Keith G Laufenberg
I really enjoyed this story. This seems like
something a creative writing teacher would give his
or her students on the first day of class to read.
Great message!

A Cowardly Hero by Muhammad Ashfaq
Solid stuff. A tremendous amount of effort looks to
have gone into its writing. The story provides us a
horripilating insight into the organizational structure
of the currently biggest menace to mankind. The
story makes a tough read but it is worth it if one is
looking for an intellectually loaded piece. It is
simple but powerful.

I love this story. Paulo Friere would applaud this
piece... as do I! Kudos to you.

This is a very respectable modern adaptation of the
old classic. Very readable...and the writing style is
engaging.

Beautiful! That is all I can say after reading it.
Flowing, lucid narrative interspersed with fresh
expressions...

'Cinderella's Slipper' by Leena Jayaraj
A proper fairy tale, in my view, is many-layered,
simply told and has a deep, dark heart.  This one
does not disappoint.

This story was enthralling I hope there is a
continuation. I have read another story written by
this author, again it left you wanting more.

'The Iron Plank' by Muhammad Ashfaq
“ It took me quite a while to understand the story,
but when I did, it took me another quite a while to
unfurl and peel off its layers. Ashfaq has craftily
juxtaposed the Muslim religious fable and sub-
fables within the political systems as prevalent in
much of the Muslim world. Kudos to you as well for
understanding a fiction replete with allusions not
easily understandable in the Western World. God
bless you for making this story available to us.”

on 'Body Parts' by Kathleen Doherty
I got the impression of a close mother /daughter
relationship.  The story adds a bit of humor to a
serious situation. I enjoyed reading it.
